    To study the rheology of such systems, a mixture viscosity is computed from the numerical simulations where a shear flow is applied to a field of spherical particles. Due to the presence of attracting and repelling forces that depend on the geometrical configurations, one expects intensive and complex motion of the particles when they are. under a thermal recovery process, numerical simulators will be needed. In these simulators, the reservoir is divided into a number of blocks arranged in one, two, or three dimensions. A detailed study is made of the reservoir by applying fundamental equations for flow in porous me- dia to each one of the blocks.
